As far as I could remember, the reunion money being funny was always due to people paying when they arrived instead of sending before hand. That's been the biggest issue in our family..but it's expected.

One year I do know that an aunt used some of the reunion money for bills but paid it back b/c her siblings were RIDING her hard about it....as they should..
