One would presume that the majority of African-American genealogy researchers and reunion planners visit AfriGeneas periodically, but even as I talk with more people involved in genealogy here in the city, who are even members of the local AAGHS, surprisingly a number of them haven't or don't visit the site that much. Many do nationally, and also many don't. It's very possible that someone in the Smalls Family has not seen your post. Perhaps you can contact someone in that family via phone to get an update on their reunion? Also, encourage them and others to visit the site and interact.
