In past experiences, we have formulated a letter simply requesting donations and/or sponsorship for our reunion or program in form of goodie bags, ice, booklets, etc. Most companies such as local banks, stores, even some restaurants will contribute simply for the advertising aspect and possible gain in business. The donations help you and in turn helps their business.
