I'm new as well. Just went to my first in 2006 and it's fast approaching again this July.

This time we made a list of everything we wanted to do, figured out the bottom line oost of how much it would take it do it and then came up with our Reunion Price. The reunion price will cover all of the basic necessities of hall rentals, bus rental for the day-trip and food for all events.

We have a Family Executive Committee of 15 people and we've asked for a donation of $150 from each. This money will help with little things like stuffing items for the goody bags, door prizes, raffle prize for bus-trip, photographer to take panoramic family portrait at Picnic, paper foods for the Fish Fry and decorations.

Next month young people in the family will begin to host Car Washes, Yard Sales and Bake Sales in their own states. Each group has promised to send 75% of their profits to their State Captains to send on to the Executive Committee. That money will be used for any emergencies or for gas for family members who have volunteered to pick up people from airports.
