Just throwing my 2 cents in. I know just how all of you feel. My family has never had a family reunion that I know of. So I decide to go for it. I took a 5 hour road trip to check out the possbile site for the reunion etc... sent out 21 keep this date notices for the 2008 reunion.(This would give everyone plenty of time ) along with a family info sheet to be return to me either by mail, by fax, by e-mail or just go old fashion phone call. Well needless to say Nothing not one word from anyone. I spoke with my mom and she said" Make your plans and do what you need to and those that are going to come will and those that wouldn't will miss out on a good time. (Wish it was that easy but we all know how much work has to go into planning). But you know what I'm going to have this family reunion and if no one shows up but me and mine then so be it and we will have a good time. I just had to get that off my chest thanks for letting me vent and to those of you who are walking in the same foot step as me.. Keep your head up!
