We used all our rooms -- and some! When we initially committed to a contract, we had three months to fill those reservations (number of rooms are based on number of nights (i.e., if you reserve one room for FRI, SAT & SUN, that is a total of 3 rooms). Read those contracts and establish a relationship with Hotels you visit! It took all of 11 months to arrange for our Reunion. We started researching Hotels and developing our plans immediately after the 27th Reunion (2006). We thought those last few months were critical to getting all those rooms reserved. However, they were filled by March and the Reunion was not until August (2007). We did a lot of creative things to keep the family in the loop. In the end, we needed more rooms and were allotted some additional rooms. However, the hotel was filled to capacity and some family members, who tried to get rooms at the last minute, ended up lodging in nearby hotels. However, they met at the main Hotel to board for tours, cruises and attend other functions. It was a blast! Hope this helps, Lena
