All were welcomed and included in everything. We did not bring attention to differences. We started with prayer and we ended
with prayer.

I was taking photographs at the banquet, even though we had
a professional photographer there, and came upon three people
sitting together, off to themselves. They told me, "We don't
feel a part of the family". I told them, "You are. Now sit
up straight for this picture and smile".

To me, a family reunion is a coming together of a community of
people connected by blood, marriage, and personal relationships.

There is a song we sing at church with the words, "All Are Welcome
In This Place". I plan to use this song at our next family reunion.
