The AMTRAK trip from Chicago to Brookhaven was a little over fifteen hours. The train was The City of New Orleans which travels from Chicago to New Orleans and leaves Chicago at 8:00 PM.

My sister Loretta and two of her grandchildren were on the same train from Chicago. There were others going to reunions in Jackson, MS, Brookhaven, MS, and New Orleans, LA. We had some interesting talks with other passengers. I enjoyed the trip.
