We currently have imperfect bylaws that I proposed but unfortunately I don't know how to attach them to this e-mail for you.

Our bylaws were not created from scratch either. Originally I did an on-line search for family bylaws and found serveral of them. I basically did a name replacement on the bylaws Word document and submitted them to my family for review. I figure why re-create the wheel. Family members do not always know what they want but if you propose something they don't like, they will make sure they tell you; so, it is always good to give them a document to react to in order to save time or if necessary point them in the right direction.
