One of the neatest things that happened in my family with friends atttending was one year the host family in one location invited their friends and their families. None of them attended the banquet but they were there in full force for the picnic. They did all of the cooking, serving and clean-up. The men bar-b-cued and the ladies served and I underdstand that they prepared most of the side dishes. The only thing the host families had to do was enjoy being with their familes from across the country. Wouldn't it be great if we all had friends to do that?
