Our reunion in San Diego last August had family and friends; however, two family households showed that did not send in responses of whether they would attend or not. Because the dinner was catered from outside, some paid members were not able to eat. We gave them money in order for them to eat somewhere else after the program. The families that did not respond and send their money in advance did pay at the dinner, but it was not the money we were concerned with at that time. As chair of the event, I had to admonish them which I did in the public setting.
