Spend time and enjoy the people.....get to know a few of the dozens you will meet. Focus on people rather than just history.

Take your digital camera and EXTRA batteries, or several of the cheap disposables.

Make up some business type cards with your name and phone and email address.....so you can give them to people when you want to stay in touch. Saves finding a pen/paper etc.....and you are certain it is correct/

Take a clean/simple version of your family tree or 5 generation chart, (and extra copies)so you can show people how you connect. Maybe a descendant report as well, to show how many are in "your" branch.

Take COPIES of pictures of your family and older pictures to show/share.
