Re: DeLavallade Family Union Story
In Response To: DeLavallade Family Union Story ()
You and I may have never, not that I can recall, but I heard the "The Union" was a huge success, as you have mentioned. By the name I am sure you know who I am, and know that I am originally from New Orleans. I must apologize for not be able to make such an enlightening and rewarding event. I can assure you that at the next "Union" my spirit, mind, and body will be there. Our family lineage is vast, and is many generations removed. I am not aware of all the families and family members to date, but I seriously want to change that. Our familiy name illustrates strength, prestige, and promenance that has stood the test of time. I feel priveleged and honored to carry the name. It is my destiny to pass it on to my offspring, as my father has done to me. I will continue to honor our ancestors with pride and dignity, for it is the "DeLavallade's" way. May we continue to strive and spread joy of family. You have shown us the way, and for that I thank you.
