My girlfriend's parents told me that they read an article in the Albany Heard about a Black Family reunion planned in Albany, Georgia on July 4th, 2007.

They said a man whose last name is Woodard posted an notice in the paper. He had been searching for his great grandparents.

Does anyone know about this reunion?
