I agree with everyone on this. I am so excited for you Alice. In 1986 we had a reunion on my dad's side of the family. We were able to make a connection with my grandfathers' sisters descendants. The eldest one in that branch remembered my grandfather from when she was a child (she was 86 in '86) and he visited them in Mobile from MS. Three fourths of the relatives there were from that family and they paid their money and came to MS from all over the US. The local families organized the reunion but we were greatly out numbered. We haven't had a reunion on that side since 1996, but we still keep in touch. It has been easier to get new family members to pay and come than the ones that you know and see. My family is crazy too.
