Melvin & All,
What are your thoughts on hiring a professional photographer for family reunions? Here are some thoughts:
A 'close' friend of the family is an amateur photog. We are still waiting for those pix after 6 years.
Uncle Seamus and everyone else with a new digital camera or those disposable ones; come back with underexposed/overexposed, blurry, finger-over-the-lens, heads-chopped-off, Aunt Emma-turning-her-head-in refusal, and an-end-of-the-event-couldn't-round-up-everybody-somebody's-missing-where's Nana?-group shot.
Do you feel me?
Would a professional photographer specializing in Family Reunions or group portraitures be a consideration? Would that be a budget item? If the photographer was from out of town, would paying for traveling expenses be an option?
What are the pros & cons?
Peace,
"Guided by the Ancestors"
