Yep...they played me. No if's, and's or but's about it. LOL That's why I am still angry. This was a family who I felt (past tense) particularly close to, and they used that closeness to get by. Every since then, I haven't had the desire to communicate with them like I used to. The way I see it, they cheated the whole family of more than $400.00. Lord knows if the family knew what they did, their reputation would be dampened since a lot of people would not expect that kind of behavior from them. And this particular family drives some expensive cars and trucks, and are usually dressed to kill, but they can't find the heart and money to pay their reunion fees, but masquerade around the reunion like they financed the whole thing themselves. This family were the only "cheaters" we had this time! The rest of the family came through financially. OK...I'm gonna stop. My head hurts too. LOL

Now that is a GOOD idea - to announce all of the non-payers to pay before everyone eats. Real Cool!! LOL
