Instead of hiring a photograper, I bought throwaway camera's and intrusted a digital and 35mm camera to different aged youth's in the family. I told them to take any pictures they wanted of anybody and bring the camera's back so I could get the film developed. I made sure I had their name on that particular film to be developed. Since I get double copies, I let the child who was the photographer for that particular film choose 1st and gave the rest to different members who stood out in the picture. That helped us see 'through the eyes of the next generation' what they thought was fun and important. Next reunion I'll pick different young members. I did notice folks starting to bring camera's for their children to use. This will become a part of the next reunion booklet sometime in the future. Oh yes, nobody get's the negatives.
