We may need to have a discussion on how to handle the non-paying or the "I Don't Wanna Pay" reunion participants.....and family procrastinators.

Just from reading your e-mail, you appear to have endured several unfortunate situations in your reunion-planning. I can feel your pain.

Here's one for you: Let's say that you have this certain family of 10, in which 2 people in that family have agreed to be on program, but not one of them have sent one dime. I guess just because they are on program, everyone in that particular family feels that they don't have to pay - although the chairperson, co-chairperson, committee members and other diligent helpers have paid. Anyway...it gets down to two days BEFORE the reunion starts, and still...not one dime from anyone in that particular family. Mind you now, they have told numerous other family members that they are attending, and many are expecting them. Then, it gets down to a day before the reunion, and you've been told that they were giving their reunion fees to the co-treasurer who will deposit their money ASAP. Then, when you do the financial report after the reunion, you realize that this family of 10 only gave the co-treasurer money for 2 to attend the reunion, and they ALL (all 10 of them) were there. I am still trying to forgive and forget but its tough.
