Our last reunion, including our "back home" roots trip to Abbeville, South Carolina, was videotaped. We sold the tapes and made a sizeable amount to put back into our scholarship fund.
I also have another question for ya.
You stated earlier that your reunions are attended by over 500. How are you all able to generate such a huge attendance? There are over 900 descendants of my great-grandfather, Bill Reed. Our last reunion was attended by a little bit over 200, which was great, and it was an increase from the last reunion. However, I dream of the day when at least 75% of the family can come together and have an awesome reunion--not to say that our past reunions weren't awesome. They were.
