Sometimes when you bring new ideas to the table, family don't want to hear it. Well that's what's happening to ours. Poor communication is at the top of the list. It was suggested to send out reunion letters at least 2 times before the date. They decided to save postage and as in the past, send it 2 month's before reunion date. Only a very few of the local family attend, so each year fewer people come. Then you need some other interest besides sitting, eating, fighting heat and flies. Can't get them to understand that it's time to change from a yearly event to every 2 years. So you know what? It's time to stop talking and let it ride. Somewhere down the road somebody will wake up and smell the roses.
