Thank you for your response. Among our challenges is finding space in the area that is large enough to accomodate our group. In fact, it seems like very few of the hotels have large enough banquet rooms. So although we would like to start the negotiations with small numbers we have had to be straightforward about the size space that we need. What we are trying to do is a single banquet meal that is not more than $40 per adult (including tax and gratuity). That way if we charge a reunion registration fee of $65 - $70 per person, we will have sufficient monies left after paying the hotel to finance the rest of the reunion. We are also seeking hospitality space and meeting space that can be set auditorium style.
