How about sending out a 'UPBEAT', letter including a page with copies of past and present pictures of a living relative and asking folks who do they think looks 'most' like this person today. What I'm getting at is send out a letter that sounds fun and interesting, as well as follow up with phone calls. It may take a year or two to actually get family interested in doing this, but don't give up. If you haven't visited folks in a while, start doing so. Everybody needs to feel confidence in your ideas and you may just find a cousin who was thinking the same way you do. JUST DON'T GIVE UP. Even if it's 2 families, it's still a family reunion.
