The McNabb family reunion will be held in beautiful Mrytle Beach, South Carolina on July 20th - 23rd, 2006. We are very excited about this year's reunion and hope to see many family and friends in attendance. Remember to reserve your rooms and pay your banquet dues prior to arriving for the reunion. This is very important!! Many fun-filled family activities are planned. So make plans to attend. You won't be disappointed!!
From research done on the family history, the McNabb originated from Comer (Barbour County), Alabama and later settled in Louisville (Jefferson Co.), Georgia. The first generation known of McNabbs were Matt and Martha McNabb from Barbour County, Alabama. The second generation were Rich and Rachel McNabb. They worked on the Comer Plantation in Comer (Barbour County),Alabama. The plantation's owner was Braxton Comer. The third generation were Louis and Cora (Big Sister) Walker McNabb. They had nine children: Louis, Richard (both died at an early age), Rachel, Mandie, Willie Mae, Johnny Louis, Cora Bell, Mary and Mattie-the only living sibling. Any information given will be most helpful.
We also have a family website that is up and running. Be sure to check it out and see what we have to offer.
