Hi Doll,
I am a double Borom because my g grandmother was born a Borom and married a Borom. According to my grandmother(d. 1995), there were 5 unrelated Borom families that she knew of in the macon county area. 2 of these families were white and 3 were african americans.
I have not researched my other Borom side much yet. It's difficult keeping the Right Borom on the right side! I do believe my g grandfather on the other Borom side had an uncle or brother named Henry. I remember this because my g aunt used to talk about uncle ted and uncle henry and her "Uchee antie". I may go to Georgia in a couple of weeks, if I do i may visit Macon county if the snakes will let me after Hurricane Ivan. Keep in touch and I will will let you know if I find out more.
