Prince George's Community College (Maryland) will host a seminar on "Family Celebratins: How to plan your Family Reunion" on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Laurel College Center. The course is designed to assist the student connect family members from different generations through planning of a special event called “Family Reunion.” The workshop will encourage the development of kinship and family ties through the planning a one-day or weekend family reunion. The student will further develop skills to create a reunion budget, create a family newsletter, plan long and short range fundraising activities, and choose a site, and meals, activities and entertainment.
