NAPIER in 1867 AL Voter Registration

Right up under my great grandfather is a man with almost the same name. My ggrandfathers name was John Napier the one right up under him was named Johnson Napier,who was he. Was that his brother.I have looked and tried to find Johnson Napier in the census with no luck.I called and asked them could someone sign that book twice they said no.

Anna we find 12 persons named NAPIER registered as voters in 1867 You may want to add each of these to your research plan. It is more likely than not that each may be related to your John. Finding a death certificate for each may be a place to begin.
