Thank you so much you have given me excellent leads and an indication of history that I was unaware of.
That is one of the many things genealogy research opens up. Knoweledge of history that is really unknown otherwise.
I live in California and was born and raised in New York.
I have driven through Mississippi once in my life ,driving to California in 1979
