Actually the one for N.C. in 1860 seems close
and the 24 in 1870 seem close. Now let's look at this way.
Joel House in 1860 Cabarrus County is seen as a carpenter, a laborer, and in that same census he has a personal value of $125.00
According to another listing I saw for Cabarrus, in Concord, inthe Mt. Pleasant area, J.Hause is a proprietor with a grist and saw mill. That was in the year 1866. Somewhere between 1867 and 1870 he may have died, and someone else took over.
