I've only seen a few from Virginia and they were amongst the Freedman's Bureau records. I discovered an 1866 list showing when my great-great grandfather, Africa Langley, voted, probably for the first time. Although this was for a local election, to determine who would represent freedmen in a freedmen's court in Princess Anne County, Virginia, it was the first of such record type that I'd ever seen.
