The post by lyndam, on Friday, 13 May 2005, At 3:37 a.m., twice references the Minden Democrat Newspaper. One reference in undated and the other is to the 20 Aug 1874 issue.

For quite some time, I have been searching for copies of the Minden Democrat – specifically for issues from October and November of 1872. WorldCat has no listings except for 1901 at LSU and for the 11 Jan 1873 issue, but strangely, it lists no library holding the issue. I would very much appreciate knowing where the referenced copies of the Minden Democrat are located. Are they perhaps in someone’s personal, private library?
