New additions to Alabama Archives 1867 Voter Registration database

The archives has added several new counties to the 1867 Voter
Registration database . . . the index is linked to the actual image
itself. Everyone on the registration list had to swear an oath of
allegiance to the United States . . . if they were of foreign birth
other details regarding the country of origin and naturalization are
noted as well.

Tallapoosa, Talladega, Sumter, St. Clair, and Shelby Counties are
