By any chance do you have a Ruby Marshall in your family tree, born Webster Parish, Minden Louisiana 1908/1909? By 1934 she is in San Antonio texas as a unwed Mother at the methodist Mission home. She states she was a nurse since 1929. By 1940 she traveled with my father JOHN LEWIS KENNETH MARSHALL to Lubbock, Texas. She placed my father up for private adoption aug 1941. AFter that date she left town with no known address. Father was unnamed but she stated he was a Doctor. She or her family may have been listed as MU or said they were part Native American. She or her family may have been of Light Complexion. It may even be possilbe that her mother was not married. As of 1941 Ruby was not married. We have thought that my fathers full name is sometype of clue from Ruby. Maybe the birth father or her Dad or a fovorite Brother.
