I am aware that there will be some participants in this forum that are new to Afrigeneas and may not be familiar with some of the names you see.

Well, mark down the names of two of the early posters, Angela Walton-Raji and David Patterson. Both are major contributors to Afrigeneas and are seasoned research professionals that I am sure have had experiences with black newspapers that we will benefit from down the pike. I'm excited to hear from them in the opening hours of the forum and sincerely hope they will be with us for the long haul.

The two of them also have something else in common: They were both speakers at the Afro-American Genealogical & Historical Society of Chicago's annual conference in years past. Their presentations were excellent.
