Thanks for your advice and willingness to help on site. I always tend to forget to contact the library until, I think, you have suggested in the past or someone else has done so. I am just so surprised to see HOMICIDE written on a death certificate, until I really started wondering what happened? I know it probably wasn't checked into. Not in 1944, for a black person. But just maybe there was some little article.
As I said before, it sort of brings an understanding, to why that side of the family, did not have any family history information about any part of Tenn. If it hadn't been for my birth certificate stating that was where my father was born, I wouldn't have known anyone was born there. In my search, it looks like all of the siblings of this gruncle and parent moved to another state, as quickly as possible. THE ANTENNA IS UP!!
