I have taken the online course with Tim Pinnick, and have tried to do what was taught, but I have to tell all, I didn't do very well.
So here I am asking for ANYONE to step forward and help me out.
I just got a hit for a gr uncle named TOMMIE WHITE from TN.
The death certificate gave me this...

died 5/2/1944

Diagnosis killed by shotgun.
Shot in Forehead
HOMICIDE
residence-Nonconnah Rd.
Occupation RR employee of IC Railroad

All of this is very new to me because looking for this side of the family information has been brick wall after brick wall.
I want to find a possible newspaper article about this. Maybe there is one, maybe not. A lot of this family was supposedly from the Tenn. area, worked as RR employees and moved to Missouri, still as RR employees.
Can somebody help me out. I think this will explain why, when I tried to interview seniors, so many years ago, NO ONE KNEW NOTHING!! No one is alive to give any information.
