Yep, these are my people. And I didn't have a death date/location for Charles Joshua "Bud" Williams, (1864-1902) a 1C x 4R, the son of Joshua T. & Mary (Allen) Williams, grandson of Charles & Martha (Robinson) Allen.

I think I kept overlooking him in the Ohio death records because as you can see from this record he is listed as "white".

This little 'snippet' is a great testament to the value of AA newspapers in our research. A simple death notice of a person in Columbus, OH, reported in 1902, found in an AA newspaper in Cleveland, OH, which ties together three (3) families in my research ..... Williams, Allen & Clifford.
