Many thanks again for this Forum and to Arlene Polk for informing us of the online issues of the Indianapolis Recorder. I have a cousin now living in New Jersey, who was born, raised and educated in Indianapolis, who after leaving to go to college in 1954 never returned, except for occasional visits with the family. He is now having a great time reading and reflecting on his formative years in Indianapolis, particularly the time he and his wife spent at Crispus Attucks High School.
