Saw a tweet today about the addition of more than 200,000 newspaper pages to the Library of Congress Chronicling America collection. I did a search for "Oswald Durant" (one of my ongoing research interests) and was thrilled to get a couple hits in the Watchman & Southron in his hometown of Sumter, S.C. One of them was a letter he wrote in 1918 while he was serving with the 371st in France! Very exciting to see his own words in print! So even if you've used this excellent resource before, go back and try it again -- you might be surprised by some new content.
