Many of my Black friends and other Blacks for the most part did not realize that it was a movie based on some Black soldiers in WWII. Also, at the box office especially at the theater that I attended it was not that many people in the audience. The Tyler Perry got big reviews which was great, some of the childrens films got big reviews, but the Miracle at St. Anna must have gone over everyone's heads as though it was something else. Maybe if a title such as "Tuskeegee Airmen" was produced then that in itself would capture a big audience. Maybe.
