Yes, Red Tails is a great movie. I saw it with my niece's son who is 20. I made it a point to go on opening day. I have also seen "The Help" which I enjoyed. My grandmother was "the Help" with a couple of families and I have no idea how the bathroom thing was handled. We, at the time, all had outdoor toilets anyway. Now her employers may have been uppity enough to have indoor plumbing, at least some of them anyway. That would have been a luxury Grandma would have been too nervous to use.... This was in rural Gum Springs, population about 250 souls, now down to less than 100.

My paternal aunt also was "Help" and her daughter and her husband's niece sometimes worked along with her for the same people, usually babysitting duties since they had a set of twins. So I asked my cousin about the bathroom policy. She said it was never a problem. This was not in the country, but was in small-town Arkansas.
