Here's a link to a movie I saw a couple months ago.

The movie is called Shadrach, it is about a former slave who walked from Alabama to Virginia at age 99, to the plantation he was born on so he could be buried there. The plantation was owned by descendants of the slave owning family.

I don't believe this was a true story, but was a good work by the writer.
