I have these movies plus other movies with Black actors and actresses in them. Now comes some African Americans who feel that these movies such as Precious, Training Day, Monster Ball are still stereotypical, that it gives the impression that these negative things are a part of our culture. Many feel and mostly blame things on the whites in Hollywood who are over these movies, yet, in this day and time, many of todays actors and actresses volunteer to take the role. Just like Black directors or producers who often do these type of movies. Are we not paranoid when it comes to those of us who are in these roles. The Black stars are usually accepted in the Oscars if they play negative parts. Is that true?
