Thanks very much for your patience, information, advice, and time. Even if I don't learn much more about my particular ancestor, I do appreciate learning all this history! I know that so much of their lives in those days was undocumented, for example, my great grandma told stories of her uncle who was a cook and travelled with cowboys, other than our wonderful oral history, it would be hard to sit down and prove all these individual stories with paper records.
