Thanks so much for your research and posting on the Military Forum about "Cold Mountain."

I posted a rather cheeky review on the Afrigeneas Book Forum that includes film reviews from two publications. Both were critical of the fact that African-Americans...enslaved, free and in the military were almost erased from the film.

Supporters of the film are quick to point out that the film is about the love story of confederate soldier and not centered on African-Americans.
