I am new to this area and am in need of information.
My grandfather enlisted in the navy June 19,1942 and was discharged October 16, 1945.
He and a few others had ingested some type of chemical and were hospitalized for some time before their discharges.
Can I order a copy of his medical record from the V.A., Navy, or National Archive?? I have his original discharge certificate and do not know what the codes and abbrev. are on the back.
