Does anyone know if there is an historical society, museum, etc in Louisiana that would have photographs of the Colored Troops who served in the Union Army during the Civil War? I am looking for photographs of the "H" company 78th Regiment of the US Colored Infantry and the "B" company, 98th Regiment of the US Colored Infantry.
They were pulled together under the name Corps d'Afrique in New Orleans.

I contacted the NO Public Library and they suggested Louisiana State College. Nothing at either place.

Any leads would be appreciated.
