The "We" that begins your response hardly includes you. If anyone visits your website, "Lest We Forget" they will find many historical resources that link to the contributions of African American women in the military in addition to the Civil War.

You and I both agree that Harriet Tubman's greatest contribution to our freedom was as a spy, leading men into battle thus freeing over 1,000 slaves. As always you confuse the "nay sayers" with documented facts. Perhaps you can post the links to your site that chronicles her valour from the diaries and letters from Union officers such as Gen. Hunter?
