In revisiting the 20-year run of Winners of the West I found scores of items-- by this journal's editors/writers, or submitted by veterans,black and white-- about black regulars and the regiments/companies/troops in which they served. Scores of itmes/mentions/references.

But here's what I did NOT find: a single use of the term "buffalo soldier". Not one. Nothing, zero, nada, zip.

Hmmmmmmmm?????? Draw you own conclusions.
