Thank you so much for going to the trouble. That is wonderful news. That particular great-great-uncle, Elliott, sent my beloved grandmother to college with money he earned through the military. Back in her day, not a lot of women of color were able to attend, much less graduate. Thanks to Uncle Elliott, my grandmother graduated from Sam Houston College in Austin, TX in 1927. She went on to become a teacher who was certified and licensed in several states. Many years later, after my father was a young man, she went back to school, graduating with a nursing degree. That was the career she retired from in 1965.

So, you see, finding out about Uncle Elliott, a great-great-uncle I never met, was very important to me and to my father. We do have one photo of him, but any more that you find would be exceptional.
